Solicitation Number: Notice Type: NFU00000045 Combined Synopsis/Solicitation SYNOPSIS: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is NFU00000045 and is a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-38. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS is 531130 and the size standard is 500. The Government anticipates awarding one firm fixed price purchase order for the delivery and rental of three air conditioned storage containers to be placed at the Fiske Range at Ft. Benning, GA. This award will consist of one 12 month Base Year and four 12 month Option Periods. Award will be made based on the lowest price, technically acceptable offer. (1) Technical Acceptability. Technical acceptability is based on complying with the minimum requirements (see below) and meeting the required delivery schedule. (2) Lowest Price. The total price for the item offered will be evaluated and considered for award. Offerors shall include a separate price for delivery. Technical Acceptability Technical acceptability is based on complying with the minimum requirements (sww below) and meeting the required delivery schedule. Minimum Requirements: This acquisition is for three air conditioned storage containers having the following minimum characteristics: • Approximate dimensions of 8ft wide x 20ft long x 8ft high, steel • Double door opening on one end • Climate controlled • Exterior light above double door • Interior lighting as follows: two double tube 4ft fluorescent fixtures end-to-end along ceiling • Insulated walls and ends • Minimum of one 120V inside electrical outlet • One outside power inlet receptacle (120V) near double door The period of performance shall be for one 12 month Base Year and four successive 12 month Option Periods. Delivery to: DHS ICE National Firearms and Tactical Training Unit (NFTTU), Fiske Range, 6551 Towle Drive, Fort Benning, GA 31905 no later than March 5, 2010 or sooner. The Government anticipates awarding a purchase order for these items shortly after close of the public posting to FedBizOpps. Inspection and Acceptance shall be at destination.
