- RECOVERY- COLDWATER CREEK VISITOR CENTER SIDEWALK AND CURBING REPAIR. COWLITZ COUNTY, WA THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-0489-S-10-0078 on about February 22, 2010 for the Coldwater Creek Visitor Center sidewalk and curbing repair project. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through the FedBizOps website and prospective bidders should visit www.fbo.gov on or after February 22, 2010 to obtain a copy of the solicitation. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. However, the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION. The US Forest Service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 6 has a requirement for Coldwater Creek Visitor Center sidewalk and curbing repair project. This project includes the repair of rock walls, concrete sidewalks and concrete curbs. The repairs include joint replacement, crack repairs, mortar repair pressure washing and the application of sealants. The contractor shall supply all services, labor, equipment, materials and supervision required to complete the requirements per the terms and conditions of this procurement. The magnitude of construction for this acquisition is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Government intends to award a negotiated fixed price contract. PARTICIPATION. This project is 100% set aside for Service- Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. The NAICS code for this project is 238110 -- Poured Concrete Foundation and Structure Contractors, the size standard is $14M Contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Contractors are required to be certified by the Small Business Administration, registered in CCR and on ORCA. The solicitation with specifications and Davis Bacon Contract Act wage rates will be posted to the FedBizOps - website www.fbo.gov. REGISTRATIONS.
