- Description: RECOVERY TAS: 75 0863: This is a Small Business Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified small business sources; (2) whether they are small businesses; HUBZone small businesses; service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses; 8(a) small businesses; veteran-owned small businesses; woman-owned small businesses; or small disadvantaged businesses; and (3) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. An organization that is not considered a small business under the applicable NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, (NIEHS) is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to determine the interest and capability of HUBZone, 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Firms, Small Business Firms and any firm eligible to compete under NAICS 334516 with a Size Standard/500 Employees for a Flow Cytometry System. Any information submitted is voluntary. All responses must be submitted via e-mail NLT February 16, 2010 at 2:00 EST to the following e-mail: gentry1@niehs.nih.gov. All respondents must include "Cytometry System in the subject line of the email. This is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ) and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey. Any solicitation that may be issued will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website and no paper copies will be provided.
