- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitations and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This procurement is for the purchase of Labware Glassware Washer. Listed items to be included are below: 1 each: Labware Glassware Washer Specifications: High efficiency linear washing action with high rate pump (up to 100gpm) - Dimensions to fit within 69"x37"79" (WxDxH) - 4 or 6 Basket capacity stainless steel - Basket size of 13"x13" - Automatic addition of needed washing agents (soap) - Factory preset washing cycles for quick implementation - Programmable wash cycles (minimum of 10 user defined) - Washing temperature up to 95*C - Standard drying cycle up to 105*C The solicitation document and incorporate provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-29(effective 19 January 2009) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement change notice 20090115. FAR 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 applies to this acquisition. WAWF procedures also apply. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies. Technical capability will be evaluated by how well the proposed product meets the government requirement instead of predetermined sub-factors. Evaluation Basis for Award: Award will be made to the offeror who has the lowest priced, technically acceptable proposal. It is the offeror's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The delivery date of these items is NLT 6 weeks after receipt of order (WARO), FOB Destination, San Antonio, TX. The NAICS Code is 423450 the size standard is 500 people. The type contract anticipated is firm-fixed price. A due date of offers will be 11:00 AM, Central Time, 10 Feb 2010.
