Description
Onsite Training for Microsoft SharePoint 2007 Advanced Core Features in Albuquerque, NM 87109-4399 - 3 workdays; Feb 23, 24, & 25, 2010 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; 8:00am to 5:00pm each day, including lunch and breaks) - Minimum class size is 18 students- Maximum class size is: 32 students- Final class size will be given to the vendor not later than 11 Feb 2010 at 5:00 pm MST - Target audience is a Microsoft Windows XP Professional / Microsoft OfficeProfessional basic user selected to be a SharePoint page owner. Students are new SharePoint users. As SharePoint page owners, students will not have access to central administration console. They will only manage site they are responsible for. - Price shall include instructor travel. After completing this class, students will be able to:- Describe the design goals and features of SharePoint 2007.- Describe SharePoint 2007 features for organizing and finding data.- Create documents and Web content using SharePoint 2007.- Update documents and Web content using SharePoint 2007.- Maintain a SharePoint page containing documents and Web content using SharePoint 2007. Completed students will not have access to central administration console. They will only manage site they are responsible for.- Understand and use SharePoint 2007 security, libraries, views, templates, document management, and workflows.- Understand and use SharePoint 2007 features available to a SharePoint page owner- Describe how to implement business solutions using SharePoint 2007.- Training shall include use of a hands-on lab for exercises throughout the class. The instructor shall be at a minimum Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), and Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) with a minimum of two years experience providing training as an MCT. The vendor shall provide courseware and reference material for each student to use throughout the class which the student shall retain after the class. The vendor shall provide computers and other IT equipment & infrastructure necessary to present the class. The vendor will not have access to Government LAN, WAN, IT equipment, or IT infrastructure. The vendor will not have internet access. The government will provide standard electrical outlets (not surge protected and not UPS protected). The government will provide a training room with seating and desk space for each student. The government will provide a projector and screen.
