- Recovery Act Project 534-09-102, Solicitation VA-247-10-RA-0049, Renovate 1A for Specialty Clinic at the Ralph H. Johnson Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Charleston, SC in accordance with drawings and specifications. Replace induction units and order performing core HVAC with new HVAC system consisting of AHU, ductwork, VAV's, CW/HW piping loop to chiller plant and controls. The work will include revisions to layout and new finishes required to move Specialty Clinic into the space. This will involve plumbing, electrical,sprinkler, FA, PA and med gas mods. The estimated construction cost is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000.000.00. Consideration is limited to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses. The solicitation will be issued as a Sealed Bid. The proposals will be received at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Ralph H. Johnson Medical Center, 109 Bee Street, Charleston, SC 29401-5799. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 236220 and the Small Business Size Standard is $33.5M. This notice is issued subject to the availability of funds and is not a request for proposal. The solicitation will be issued on the Federal Business Opportunities Website on or about February 26, 2010 with proposals due on March 26, 2010. A pre-bid conference is tentatively scheduled for March 5, 2010 at 11:00 AM.
