- Description
- The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a purchase order to Gerstel, 701 Digital Drive, Suite J; Linthicum, MD 21090. The authority for this sole source is FAR Part 6.302-1. The contractor shall provide four each of the following 1) Gerstel Samplers, 2) Mounting Kits; and 3) Pelter Drawer. Gerstel can provide these instruments that: automated liquid handling: samples can be derivatized and standards added; samples can also be heated, cooled, and mixed, all of which can be performed on sample analysis instrument. Sample extraction: solid phase extraction, solid phase micro extraction, twister back extraction and membrane assisted solvent extraction are also offered through this software. Headspace GC, thermal desorption, and automated liner exchange are all methods offered through the Maestro software. Online fatty acid extraction through DPX technology, and No other liquid injection system can offer these capabilities. Only one award will be made. This is not a request for competitive proposals and a solicitation is not available. Firms that believe they can provide these services/supplies are encouraged to identify themselves and provide salient characteristics of their equipment and give written notice to the Contract Specialist prior to the response date found. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action will be based on responses to this notice and are solely within the discretion of the U.S. Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
