Description
The United States Government seeks to lease approximately 11,500 rentable square feet of office space yielding a minimum of 9,500 ANSI BOMA usable square feet to a maximum of 10,000 ANSI BOMA usable square feet in Albany, NY within the following delineated areas: Area #1: Within a 4-block radius of the Federal Court House, bounded by the following: North, Columbia Street; South, Liberty Street; East., Water Street; West, Pearl Street; or Within the Village of Menands, NY, within the following delineated areas: Area #2: North: Rt. 378; South: City of Albany; East: Hudson River; and West: Van Rensselaer Blvd. Twenty-two (22) parking spaces are required, six (6) of which must be secured. Access to parking must be available 24/7. Parking will be located in the following order of preference: 1) on site, 2) a combination of on-site and off-site or 3) off-site. Off-site parking must be located within two blocks of the offered space. The proposed lease is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm. Offered space must be fully serviced and located in a prime commercial office district in close proximity to public transportation. Site must be located outside the 100-year flood plain. Sub-leases are not acceptable. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire and Life Safety. It must also have Handicapped Accessibility consistent with ABAAS Guidelines. The space should be ready for occupancy by November 2, 2010. Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing and should include the following information: address/location of site, square footage, name, address, telephone number and email address of individual to be contacted, name of recorded owner, and evidence of authority to represent the owner. All expressions of interest must be received by February 24, 2010.
