- Description
- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) currently occupies office and related space in a building in Walton, New York under an expiring lease. The government is currently seeking to lease approximately 5700 rentable square feet of office and related space and 25 on-site, paved parking spaces. The rentable square feet must yield a minimum of 4,750 square feet ANSI/BOMA office area square feet (OASF), 1,847 square feet of which must be contiguous. The Lease term requirement will be 10 years, 5 years firm, with the Government having cancellation rights with 120 days notice. All utilities, janitorial, lawn care/snow removal, maintenance services, tenant alterations and off-street parking are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. In addition, the space must meet the requirements of the Architectural Barrier Act Accessibility Standard (ABAAS) and will not be located in a flood plain. The space must be available for occupancy within 60 days after award. The delineated area is: North: County Highway 23, 21 and 22 East: Chambers Hollow Road, St 10, County Highway 26 South: County Highway 26, East River Road and NY 206 to Beers Bark Road West: NY 10, NY 206 and Seeley Wood Road Other applicable requirements: -Access to space shall be provided 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. -Space must meet or be adapted to meet IT and server wiring specifications. The government will consider, alternate space if deemed to be lowest price/technically acceptable. Price consideration shall include costs likely to be incurred through relocation, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
