Description
RECOVERY INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT (ISRDS) CONTRACTNUMBER NNA08CG83C. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLEONLY TO STINGER GHAFFARIAN TECHNOLOGIES INCORPORATED (SGT, INC.) UNDER CONTRACT NUMBERNNA08CG83C FOR INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT (ISRDS) AT NASA AMESRESEARCH CENTER (ARC) LOCATED AT MOFFETT FIELD, CA. THIS IS AUTHORIZED UNDER THEAMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA). ARC intends to issue Task Order 66, titled Verification & Validation (V&V) of FlightCritical Systems (VVFCS). This task supports NASA Recovery Act work sponsored by theAeronautics Research Mission Directorate and the Aviation Safety Program. Research fundedby Recovery Act within the Aviation Safety Program will focus on developing innovativetools, concepts, methods, and technologies that will improve the intrinsic safetyattributes of current and future aircraft and of aviation operations. The VVFCSAssessment Studys goal under this Recovery Act funding is to significantly improve theverification and validation capabilities of researchers and engineers in civilianaerospace with respect to safety. In support of these efforts, the contractor shalldevelop two techniques that are used for verification and validation of softwareintensive flight critical systems. Specifically the contractor shall develop a modelchecker for flight system design models and a static analysis tool to analyze existingsoftware code used in flight systems. Task Order 66 will be funded by the Recovery Act. A contract modification will be issued to fully fund this task order.The Intelligent Systems Research and Development Support (ISRDS) contract numberNNA08CG83C was made on a competitive basis. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. This announcement will not result in a Request for Proposal. This announcement is forinformational purposes only.
