Description
Description: THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. The resulting contract will utilize funds provided by the AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) OF 2009. Interested parties are notified that the inclusion of unique provisions required in implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency, will be required of the successful bidder. Work includes: Reconditioning of roadway, including ditches, culvert inlets and outlets; falling of danger trees; removal and/or placement of 18, 24, 30, 36 and 48-inch culverts; supply and placement of aggregate; repair of existing culverts. ***ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE OF SOLICITATION electronically in Federal Business Opportunities is March 5, 2010.*** The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities (except as otherwise specified), to perform the Statement of Work/Specifications. Project area is located in Lane County on the Willamette National Forest. The Government’s Estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. The successful offeror shall be required to submit Performance and Payment Bonds (100%) prior to start of work. Contract time is 120 calendar days. This proposed procurement listed herein is set-aside for HUBZone firms in accordance with the Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Act of 1997. Location: The project can be located as follows: From the town of Lowell, Oregon, travel north on the Lowell Jasper Road 3 miles to the Unity Bridge. Turn right on Big Fall Creek Road and travel 9.19 miles to the Forest Boundary and the road becomes Road 1800. Proceed 9.69 miles to the junction of 1831 on the left and the beginning of the project.
