- The Rock Island Contracting Center (RICC) and the Project Manager, Combat Ammunition Systems will be hosting an Industry Day to provide information on the planned acquisition of the 60mm M769 and 81mm M879 Full Range Practice Cartridge Load Assemble Pack (FRPC LAP) over the next ten years. An Industry day for this acquisition was previously held on 29 January 2009. However, due to significant changes to the acquisition strategy the USG is holding another industry day to allow additional comments from Industry. The Industry Day will be held at the Stoney Creek Inn, 101 18th St, Moline IL 61265 on March 2, 2010. The draft Request for Proposal (RFP) W52P1J-09-R-0216 (formally W52P1J-08-R-0095) will be available at the following internet address no later than 23 February 2010: http://www.aschq.army.mil/ac/aais/ioc/FRPLAP/FRPLAP.aspx. Please note this invitation is open to all interested parties, and attendance of all interested parties, including small businesses, is strongly encouraged. Firms interested in sending representatives to attend the Industry Day must register by sending their completed registration form (see attached) to ROCK-ACS-AAIS-ACQ-CENTER. It is requested that all participants review the draft RFP prior to Industry Day, and submit any specific questions and/or comments regarding the draft RFP via email to the point of contact mentioned above. There will be time allowed on Industry Day for any additional questions and/or comments that may arise. Do not ask any questions that disclose proprietary information since all questions and answers will be shared with all participants.
