Description
The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place a firm fixed price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-05-G-0026 with McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC) (A Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Boeing Company) of St. Louis, Missouri 63166, for the procurement of tooling and retrofit kits in support of multiple Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs): ECP 6282 "Follow-On CRI Inner Wing" (Rate Tooling), ECP 6240R1 “FT50 18K Main Landing Gear Sidebrace Fitting Failure – Revision For Retrofit" (144 retrofit kits), ECP 6234 "Horizontal Stabilator / Fuselage Rubbing" (retrofit kits for 207 aircraft), and ECP 6267R1 "INCORPORATION OF ADVANCED MISSION COMPUTER AND DISPLAYS (AMC&D) IN LOTS 23-25" (14 retrofit kits for Lots 23-24 and 4 bags of Support Equipment for FY10, and an FY11 option for 39 retrofit kits for Lots 23-24 and 4 bags of Support Equipment). The delivery schedule requires a minimum of 5 aircraft retrofit kits per month. MDC is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the F/A-18E/F aircraft in its various configurations and is the only source with the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary to accomplish this effort. Any interested party must have the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary accomplish this effort within schedule requirements. Any respondent must also submit a Statement of Qualifications to demonstrate respondent’s ability to perform to the Government’s needs within the required response time.
