- STATE OF OHIO ADJUTANT GENERALS DEPARTMENT 2825 West Dublin Granville Road Columbus, Ohio 43235-2789 AGOH-J1-FR 5 November 2009 MEMORANDUM FOR AGOH-PF-PC SUBJECT: Contract Solicitation Youth Program needs for Annual Family Readiness Conference 1. Request solicitation for Camp locations to meet the following requirements: a. Period: 3 day (Friday Evening (2000) thru Sunday morning until 1230. b. Dates and Location: Camp Facilities located no more than 2.0 hours from the Family Readiness Conference location 9-11 April 2010 in Columbus. c.Friday Requirements: 2000-0815 1.Modern Heated Buildings: Access to heated building large enough to accommodate 160 people while conducting mixers, welcome games and the evening activity 2.Modern Heated Buildings: Access to enough heated cabins for overnight accommodations and restroom/shower facilities to maintain participant comfort and hygiene. 3.Accessibility for handicapped individuals: ramps, restrooms, etc 4.Communication Program: Quality programming designed to meet our theme of communication in modern society 5.Dining facility fully staffed and able to service 160 individuals. d. Saturday Requirements: 0815-2330 1.Dinning facility: Fully staffed and able to service 160 individuals during breakfast, lunch and dinner. 2.Indoor and Outdoor high ropes adventure course: Including proper safety equipment, trained and certified staff qualified to facilitate the session. Because of the time of year, must have access to indoor ropes adventure course to allow programming to continue in the event of inclement weather 3.Team Challenge initiative course: Including trained staff qualified to facilitate the session. 4.Climbing tower and zip line: Including proper safety equipment and trained and certified staff qualified to facilitate the session. 5.Indoor Climbing wall: To allow programming to continue in the event of inclement weather 6.Enough indoor/covered areas: To allow programming to continue, with consideration of space needed to conduct programming in the event of inclement weather. 7.Communication Program: Quality programming designed to meet our theme of communication in modern society 8.Modern Heated Buildings: Same requirements as #2 listed above 9.Accessibility for handicapped individuals: Same requirements as #3 listed above e.Sunday Requirements: 2330-0815 1.Same Cabin and facility needs as stated above. 2.Need of dinning facility again to service 160 individuals during breakfast. f. Additional Requirements: 1. Must have fully trained staff to facilitate all programming and training in accordance to our requirements. 2. Camp facility that is able to accommodate needs as they arise due to weather or events outside our control. 3.
