Description
The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract and will utilize procedures under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall provide maintenance for a base and 4 option years on a 225kVA Emerson Liebert Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with the alarm repair included in the regular preventive maintenance check up as required by the Commander, Naval Network Warfare Command in Norfolk, VA. The contractor shall provide 1 annual preventive maintenance service, comprising of manufacturer's recommended annual maintenance, Quarterly battery maintenance, including cell Voltage, resistance and temperature measurements. On-site response to all urgent services requests within 4 hours of service call, 24/7/365. 100% parts, labor and travel coverage. All parts and material must be approved by the manufacturer and be installed by manufacturer authorized technicians. The applicable NAICS Code is 811219. The resulting contract will be for the base period of 12 month from the contract date, with four one-year options. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about February 23, 2010 by downloading the documents at the Neco Website as follows: https://www.neco.navy.mil or at https://www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential contractor are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self certifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor the owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerrors at anytime prior to award. The prospective awardees must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make the contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov/ at anytime prior to award.
