- The Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant HealthInspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), Riverdale, MD, intends to acquire an estimated 4,000,000 swine backtags, 10 mil mat, printing grade, rigid vinyl and made of waterproof material. Tags shall be white or yellow with 3-digit number one on side. Tags shall be 2 ¾ to 3 inches in diameter. A bid sample will be required with submission of offer. This will be a fixed-price, requirements contract for a one (1) year period, with the option to renew four (4) additional years. FOB destination. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. The NAICS code is 322299. The small business size standard is 500 employees, or less. The RFP AG-6395-S-10-0056, is to be affixed to all documents submitted in reference to this requirement. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Any and all questions regarding the solicitation shall be submitted via fax or email only. The Government intends to provide the solicitation and all amendments via this web site only. NOTIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE SENT TO OFFEROR REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION NOR ANY OF ITS AMENDMENTS. IT IS THE OFFEROR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THIS WEB SITE PERIODICALL FOR UPDATES. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. All changes to the pre-solicitation notice, solicitation and any attachments shall be posted to the website at: www.FedBizOpps.gov.
