- Description
- The United States Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center (MICC) - Yuma, Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona, intends to negotiate an extension to a Cost plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract DATM07-02-C-0005 on a sole source basis with TRAX International Corporation. TRAX International currently provides Tropic Test Support Services to the DTC/Tropic Regions Test Center (TRTC), U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), AZ. These non-personal services include continued technical, operational, administrative and logistical support to the Tropic Regions Test Center which manages the testing activities at a variety of sites, among them the Republic of Panama, Hawaii, Australia, Guam, French Guyana and Suriname. The contract expires 31 March 2010. The modification will consist of one nine month extension with three additional one month options for a potential total of 12 months through 31 March 2011. This extension is necessary to provide continued support while allowing adequate time to competitively award a follow-on contract and sufficient time for any required transition from the existing contract. Transition is anticipated to take 30-60 days. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and no solicitation will be issued. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by this agency. Any such information submitted will also be used for market research purposes for the follow-on acquisition.
