Description
This is a sources sought notice only; it is not a request for quotations or offers. The VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System is conducting market research to identify potential sources for a contract for the provision of medical grade liquid bulk oxygen to the VA Medical Center located in Biloxi MS. The anticipated contract period is a base period commencing on June 1, 2010, with four one-year option periods. The contractor will be required to provide a primary storage tank of approximately 172,000 CCF capacity and a backup tank. The contractor will be required to provide a local alarm and annunciating panel at the tank. The contractor will be required to connect the contractor-owned equipment to the government supplied electrical and mechanical connections at the tank location. The Government will provide a suitable mounting pad for the contractor owned tank. The contractor will be required to make periodic deliveries of medical grade liquid bulk oxygen over the life of the contract.The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 325120, Industrial Gas Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1000 employees. Central Time. This sources sought notice is to assist the VA in identifying an appropriate acquisition strategy only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced and posted on this website at a later date, and interested parties must respond to the solicitation to be considered for award.
