Description
Pre-Solicitation Notice Nortel Switch Upgrade, Switch Nodes 2 and 4, Fort Huachuca, AZ Supporting the NETWORK ENTERPRISE CENTER- FT. HUACHUCA, AZ The United States Army Network Enterprise Center (NEC) Ft. Huachuca, AZ has a requirement for non-personal services to establish and define the requirements for replacement/upgrade of software and hardware at Fort Huachuca, AZ. The contractor shall be a Nortel certified partner. The contractor shall engineer, furnish, install, secure, test (EFIS&T) the expansion of the telephone switch nodes as defined in the Performance Based Work Statement (PBWS), and the integration of the telephone switches expansions into the existing Fort Huachuca voice network. The contractor shall perform all work necessary to make the expansions of the telephone switch nodes as defined in the PBWS to be completely operational to include the alternating current (AC) power feed from the AC distribution panel, direct current (DC) power, equipment grounding, and cabling, as required, with prior approval from the NEC POC. This effort does not include heating, ventilation, and cooling (HVAC), fire suppression, lighting protection, or a building ground bus ring, all of which are GFE. The locations for the expansions of the telephone switch nodes within shelters (buildings) 80004 and 86810 shall be identified, beforehand, by the Fort Huachuca NEC POC. The contractor shall propose only such voice and communication equipment that is currently identified on the Unified Capabilities Approved Products List (UCAPL). The contractor shall include in the proposal the necessary equipment, software, and cabling required providing a turnkey solution. The contractor shall EFIS&T the voice system in accordance with (IAW) the Department of Defense (DOD) Networks Unified Capabilities Requirements 2008 (UCR 2008). The Government contemplates the award of a fixed price contract with a Period of Performance tentatively scheduled for 15 March 2010 to 15 September 2010. The solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted procurement. The NAICS Code is 334210 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. More information regarding the site visit scheduled for 2 March 2010 will be provided with the solicitation, W91RUS-10-T-0062. The solicitation is tentatively scheduled for posting on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/).
