Description

RECOVERY - Crow Flat and Crane Prairie Guard Stations' Well Drilling- THIS IS AN AMERICAN AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. The project consists of drilling two, minimum 6” diameter drinking water well to an estimated depth of approximately 150 to 200 feet below the ground surface at Crane Prairie Guard Station, on the Prairie City Ranger District ( Grant County) AND at the Crow Flat Guard Station on the Emigrant Springs Ranger District (Harney County) on the Malheur National Forest, Oregon. The drilling contractor must be a licensed well driller in the State of Oregon at the time of the bid. The Crane Prairie Guard Station is located in R34E, T16S, Section 24. It is approximately 30 miles Southeast of Prairie City, OR. It can be accessed by heading South on Grant County Road 62 for approximately 25 miles. Turn East on Forest Service Road 16 for approximately 5 miles to the entrance of the guard station. The Crow Flat Guard Station is located 17 miles North of Burns, OR along US Highway 395 in section 13 of R31E, T20S. This project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000.
