- NASA/DFRC has a requirement for Brocade/NetIron MLX Series Network Hardware. 2 each - NetIron MLX Series 20-port FE/GE (100/1000) module / Part NumberNI-MLX-1Gx20-SFP. 2 each - NetIron MLX Series 20-port 10/100/1000 copper module / Part NumberNI-MLX-1Gx20-GC40 each - 1000Base-SX SFP Optic, MMF, LC Connector / Part Number E1MG-SX20 each - 1000BASE-TX SFP Copper, RJ-45 Connector / Part Number E1MG-TX 1 each - NetIron MLX-4 AC Chassis / Part Number NI-MLX-4-AC 8 each - MLX AC 1200W power supply*** / Part Number NI-X-ACPWR (***Power supply MUST BE Brocade part Number 32020-000) 2 each - NetIron XMR/MLX switch fabric module for 4-slot chassis / Part NumberNI-MLX-MR 4 each - NI-X-4 FAN TRAY / Part Number NI-X-4-FANThe Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and 13.Interested organizations may submit their quotations in writing to the identified pointof contact not later than 2:00 p.m. PST on March 12, 2010. This notice is a combinedsynopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FARSubpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Thisannouncement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request forQuotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not beissued. Offerors are required to use the On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. TheOn-line RFQ system may be accessed athttp://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=.Theinformation required byFAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are NOT acceptable in response to this notice.
