Description: The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a sole source BOA order under N00019-08-G-0010 to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, P.O. Box 9729 Stratford, CT 06615-9129 for procurement of approximately 70 composite main rotor blades, 15 bifilar assemblies, manufacturing licenses, associated hardware, non-recurring engineering, logistics and program management for the VH-3D Executive Transport, Lift Improvement Program (LIP). Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is the only known source with the necessary technical data, knowledge, experience and expertise required to perform this effort as they are the sole manufacturer of the VH-3D Aircraft. The contract will be Firm Fixed Price with options for spare components. This synopsis is for informational purposes only. Note 22 applies.
