Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice. This notice is a mechanism for obtaining feedback from industry in regard to the general requirement stated below. THIS IS NOT A SYNOPSIS FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Rather, it is a market research tool to determine potential sources for future surgical requirements. The Government is not obligated to, nor will the Government pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. The US Army Medical Command, Southern Region Contracting Office - East is seeking interest from potential sources for the following surgical items: Neurolac Nerve Tube Sets, various sizes, manufactured by Polyganics BV, able to bridge a maximum 2 cm gap allowing 5 mm on each side for nerve insertion, nerve stump must be able to be inserted 3-5mm into the tube ends, nerve tube must be bioresorbable and must be able to retain its initial mechanical properties up to 10 weeks to provide support and protection to the healing nerve. Flexiglide sheets, various sizes, manufactured by Polyganics BV, made of 100% micro-biologically safe materials, gradual degradation to occur through hydrolysis leading to a gradual reduction of molecular weight and must be able to retain its initial mechanical properties up to 10 weeks to provide support and protection to the healing tissue. This is not a request for proposal. However, companies that can provide an equal product MUST SUBMIT THEIR TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES TO INCLUDE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF THEIR PRODUCT, PAST PERFORMANCE INFORMATION, PRICE, DELIVERY TIME AND TECHNICAL/MEDICAL SUPPORT. This information will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for consideration for future requirements. Point of Contact: Linda M.
