Description

Task order project will include: 2.5 miles of reconstruction work on 3 separate roads to prepare roads for timber haul. Two segments, approximately 0.1 miles each are road re-alignments consisting of clearing and grubbing, excavation, and a culvert installation. The third road, approximately 2.3 miles, requires reshaping and spot rocking. Work includes road-side clearing, reconditioning and excavation work on existing roadbed, drain dip and water bar construction, and spot rocking with grid-rolled aggregate from a Forest Service source. Anticipated period of performance for this task order is 30 calendar days after notice to proceed. The Government intends to place a firm fixed price task order on or before June 1, 2010. The resulting order shall utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. Inclusion of unique provisions required implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror will be required.
