- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, Panama City, Florida intends to solicit Florida Atlantic University (FAU), 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton, FL 33431-0991 on a sole source basis to support the Buried Object Scanning Sonar (BOSS) operation during data collection tests and to perform image analysis of the detected buried objects during the upcoming Fiscal Year 2010 Tests. FAU is uniquely qualified to support this requirement since it is the original developer of the BOSS sensor suite and the analysis techniques which produces the imaging data of the detected objects. All work is expected to be completed by 30 September 2010. Delivery will be the Naval Support Activity - Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7018. The resultant award shall be a firm-fixed price purchase order. The North American Industry Classification System code is 541330.
