- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT RESULT IN AN ORDER AGAINST AN FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE. ANY OFFER WHICH IS PREDICATED UPON THE AWARD BEING PLACED AGAINST AN FSS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. The purchase of SCADA Controllers for Water Plant and IWTP System Upgrade. Mfr: MultiTrode Justification for Sole Source: Sole Source to Applied Industrial Controls. This is due to proprietary reasons, the upgrade will be integrated into existing system. Applied Industrial Controls is the only authorized Multitrode dealer/installer in Georgia. Price(s) should be FOB Destination (Robins AFB GA 31098). In addition to price and delivery, quote should include your cage code, DUNS number, and taxpayer ID number. Requested delivery date is 90 days ARO or earlier. Quotations should be emailed to Angie Whitley (angie.whitley@robins.af.mil) no later than 09 Mar 10, 4:00 pm EST. The anticipated award date is 30 Mar 10. Please do not request award status prior to this date. Product Description: A new reliable water plant and IWTP (industrial wastewater treatment plant) system upgrade by MultiTrode is needed to improve operations of the system controls to incorporate cellular technology with MultiTrode current proprietary hardware at Robins AFB IWTP. The following deliverable items and services are required: •· ICONICS SCADA HMI basic components · ICONICS SCADA HMI reporting components · OUTPOST II SCADA Software basic components · OUTPOST 2 ICONICS server backup software components · OUTPOST 2 and ICONICS server backup hardware components · Surge protection for server · Up to 10 days onsite engineering and technical support services for programming, installation, integration and commissioning of new system upgrade plus technical support for one year after start up (to include software updates) · Control panels, cellular, communications hardware and necessary electrical hardware to be contractor provided and installed for water wells #1, #5, #8, #16, #17, #18 and the main, 10 th, 12 th, J-Stars water towers.
