Description

The Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP) Philadelphia has a requirement for one (1) Model T56-A-427A Engine (3 in 1 Module + PSCMMS) Rolls-Royce (63005) Part Number 23080401 and one (1) Serviceable Shipping Container (73342) Part Number 6800473, NIIN 01-451-5228. The government intends to contract on a sole source basis with Rolls-Royce Corporation, 2001 South Tibbs Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46241-0420. Rolls-Royce is the only known source for providing the T56-A-427A Engine that is compatible with the E2D aircraft. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 336412 and the applicable FSC code is 2840. Responses to this notice of intent to negotiate with Rolls-Royce Corporation should be submitted no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of this synopsis to NAVICP Philadelphia, Attn: Mr. James Maxwell, Contracting Officer, Code (0261.08), 700 Robbins Ave, Bldg 1, Philadelphia, PA 19111. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. See Numbered Note 22.
