- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has a requirement for a bridgecontract to continue professional support services in support of the ProgramExecutive Office Integrated Warfare Systems PEO 1.0, 4.0, 7.0 and the SystemIntegration Program Managers (PEO IWS 1.0, 4.0, 7.0 and SIPMs) during theongoing GAO Protest B-402572. As such, NAVSEA intends to award a solesource contract to Alion Science and Technology, 1750 Tysons Boulevard Suite1300, McLean, VA 22102. The Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract will be for theircontinuing professional support services across PEO IWS 1.0, 4.0, 7.0, andSIPMs' highly interrelated product lines in the task areas of ProgramManagement Services, Foreign Military Sales Services, Business FinancialManagement Services, Acquisition Management Services, and ConfigurationManagement/Integrated Logistics Support Services. The contract consists of a two and a half-month base with three two-monthoptions. The contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1),Only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type ofsupplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
