- Description
- The U.S. Department of Energy, National Nuclear SecurityAdministration (NNSA)Service Center (SC) intends to award a sole source contract under theauthorityof FAR 6.302-1, 41 USC 253(c)(1), to the Conference of Radiation ControlProgram Directors, Inc. (CRCPD), 1030 Burlington Lane, Suite 4B, Frankfort,KY40601-2832 to provide analysis support for the Consequence Management andFederal Radiological Monitoring and Assessment Center (CMFRMAC) at theNevadaSite Office, Las Vegas. This is a follow-on contract, as the CRCPD is theonlyfirm capable of providing assistance and support for the NNSA RadiationProtection efforts. The CRCPD is a not-for-profit organization, and is the principle professional association for the Directors of Radiation ControlPrograms for state government offices and their associate staff. The CRCPD also accredits laboratories, coordinates the efforts of large-scaleradiological emergencies, and are the focus of information collection anddissemination for state radiation control program data, includingcapabilitiesfor emergency response. The applicable NAICS code is 813920 with a sizestandard of $7 million. This is not a request for proposals and nosolicitation is forthcoming. Information received will normally beconsideredsolely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitiveprocurement. NNSA will not be responsible for any costs incurred byrespondingto this notice. This notice in no way obligates the Government to awardanycontract.
