Description

Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary for the Consolidate Scope Sterilization at the Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center, 1481 W Tenth Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202. Work includes but is not limited to complete demolition and removal of ENT and GU sterilization and consolidating it in SPD, renovate existing SPD area, complete balancing and recommissioning of the HVAC systems serving SPD. Construction work includes all disciplines: mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural and general architectural/utility work in phases to maintain the operation of the existing areas. Phasing and traffic flow during the construction of this project is crucial. Evening/night and weekend work will be required. All work shall meet current Life Safety Code and latest Indiana and VA building requirements. Estimated construction cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. Applicable NAICS is 236220 and $33.5 million applies. This project is 100% set-aside for a service-disabled veteran owned small business. Completion time is 180 days after date of receipt of notice to proceed. Solicitation will be available on or about March 24, 2010. Bid opening is scheduled for April 23, 2010.
