- Atch 8 to BAA - Base Support Atch 7 to BAA - DD 254 Atch 6 to BAA - CDRLs Atch 5 to BAA - Task Order 04 Atch 4 to BAA - Task Order 03 Atch 3 to BAA - Task Order 02 Atch 2 to BAA - Task Order 01 Atch 1 to BAA - Basic Statement of Work BAA document for Composite, Hybrid, and Thermally Engineered Materials (CHATEM). The Non-metallic Materials Division (AFRL/RXB) is soliciting for Research and Development on advanced composite, hybrid, and thermally engineered materials. Integration of Composite, Hybrid and Thermally Engineered Materials is critical to the success of the effort. The goal is the development of materials and processing methodologies that are vital to create advanced materials and devices for future AF systems. Research Areas of Emphasis include: • Composite-Based Materials Synthesis and Functionalization • Composite/Hybrid Materials Processing • Composite/Hybrid Development • Thermally Engineered Materials Development • Interface Studies • Computational Modeling and Simulation • Various Materials Testing Techniques The contractor shall provide professional and technical expertise to perform related research in the area of advanced materials development. In addition, the contractor shall provide a mechanism to provide outside world-class professional and technical resources with skills that are flexible to meet current technical research. The composite, hybrid, and thermally engineered materials under development are candidates for use in air, space, and existing AF assets and weapon systems applications.
