- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services. Services must be within 10 miles (in any direction) of the Residential Reentry Center (RRC) located between 2200 and 2210 block Norman St. Saginaw, Michigan 48607 and should be accessible to local Public Transportation. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period to begin on October 1, 2010 with four (4) one-year option renewal periods with service ending (if all options are renewed) on September 30, 2015. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. The Following services are required and may be sub-contracted to another licensed contractor. The requirements for Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment and Mental Health Services for male and female Federal offenders includes: Base Year: Estimated number of inmates = 17 Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 2 inmates = 2 assessments Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 48 units (per inmate) x 12 = 576 units Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 12 = 864 units Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 16 units (per inmate) x 5 = 80 units Family Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 16 units (per inmate) x 5 = 80 units Mental Health Intake Assessment and Report (one per inmate) for 3 inmates = 3 units Medication Monitoring (1 units per inmate) for 2 inmates = 2 monitoring units Individual Mental Health Counseling (30 minutes =1 unit) 48 units per inmate for 5 inmates = 240 units Group Mental Health Counseling (30 minutes =1 unit) 72 units per inmate for 1 inmate = 72 units Psychological Evaluation & Abuse Treatment (TDAT) most recent Statement of Work dated March 2009. The request for quotation will be available on or after March 25th, 2010 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date is on or about April 23, 2010. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This requirement is unrestricted. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract. All responsible business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered by this agency.
