- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 10-233-SOL-00091 and it is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-38. The associated NAICS code is 423430. This requirement is a total small-business set-aside. Brand Name Justification: The items required by this solicitation are required to upgrade, enhance, and integrate into an existing security environment currently utilizing Tenable Nessus software. To insure continuation of software licenses and agreements and utilization of existing maintenance and support services no other brand of item is acceptable. This acquisition is being conducted under FAR parts 12 and 13 for the purchase of the following items, on an all or none basis: Item 1: Tenable Nessus Professional Feed Subscription, 3-year; Quantity: five (5); Manufacturer Part Number: SERV-NES-01-N3; Manufacturer: Tenable To determine quoted items will meet the Government’s requirements; Quoters shall provide a full description, manufacturer’s name, and manufacturer’s original part number for all quoted items. All items are to be delivered FOB destination, within 30 days after award, to 5600 Fishers Lane, Room 2A-53, Rockville, Maryland 20857. The following provisions and clauses apply to this synopsis/solicitation: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (JUN 2008) 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications—Commercial Items (Feb 2009), (submit with quote). NOTE: An offeror shall complete only paragraph (b) of this provision if the offeror has completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov.
