- NSN 1005-01-515-8270, Part Number 13001717, The item to procure is a Mounting Bracket Assembly and is used on the M192 LWGM. The parts include (1) Should Bolt (P/N 13001714), (1) Front Mounting Pin Assembly (P/N 13001715), (1) Rear Mounting Pin (P/N 13001716)m (1) Front & Rear Retaining Clip (P/N 13001720/21), (1) Mounting Bracket Weldment (P/N 13001722), (1) T & E Quick Release Assembly (P/N 13001726), (1) Pintle Assembly (P/N 13001730) and misc. nuts, screws and washers. The long lead item would be the Mounting Bracket Weldment that requires (2) 4130 Steel Castings, cast to AMS 5336F, inspection in accordance with AMS 2175, Class 2, Grade C, Heat Treatment: Normalized and with Phosphate finish applied. Requirements are 430 Each Guaranteed Minimum and 8,000 Maximum Contract Quantity Bracket Assembly. FOB is Destination. For use on the M192 LWGM. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. Estimated issue date is 31 Mar 2010. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capacity to satisfy the Governments requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. Offers must be submitted in the English language and in U.S. dollars. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. Offers must be submitted in the English language and in U.S. dollars. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
