- U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting with Robertson Fuel Systems, 800 W. Carver Rd, STE 101, Tempe, AZ 85284-5264 for the repair of an 800 gallon auxiliary fuel tank used on the MH-47G helicopter, and a 200 gallon auxiliary fuel tank used on the MH-60K helicopter, or any other aircraft fielded for USSOCOM. The proposed action is for a repair service for which the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. Firms that feel they can provide this commodity or equal or service are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal, however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date (in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The estimated release date of the solicitation is 17 March 2010.
