- Description
- The VA Western New York Healthcare System, Buffalo, New York, intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) VA-528-10-RP-0114 for CRITICAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEM UPGRADE - A WING. The Contractor shall be required to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision etc. necessary for CRITICAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEM UPGRADE - A WING, as shown in the solicitation documents. Work will include but not be limited to: construction of a new critical electrical room requiring excavation and masonry walls, installation of new infrastructure equipment, stairwell chase and installation of new power panels near existing distribution panels. The estimated construction cost range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. This procurement is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside. Award will be made on a competitive basis to the responsible Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business responding to this solicitation in accordance with the solicitation requirements. OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIAL: Solicitation materials consisting of the Request for Proposal Details, Specifications, Drawings and Contract Forms will be available on http://www.fedbizopps.gov in electronic format only. These should be available on or about March 26, 2010. All interested parties (subs & primes) should register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov as an 'Interested Vendor' so that others will know of your interest in participating in this procurement. A Bidder's mailing list, list of interested parties and/or list of attendees at site visits WILL NOT be prepared nor distributed by the Contract Specialist. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Paper copies of the amendments will NOT be individually mailed. By registering to 'Add to Watchlist'; you will be notified by of any new amendments that have been issued and posted. No other notification of amendments will be provided. Offerors are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time for receipt of offers as prescribed by FAR 52.215-1 Instructions to Offerors - Competitive Acquisition.
