Description
THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT RECOVERY- DESIGN AND FABRICATE WAYSIDE AND RESOURCE PROTECTION SIGNS, SKAMANIA COUNTY, WASHINGTON. The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-0489-S-10-0373 on or about March 29, 2010, for the RECOVERY design and fabricate wayside and resource protection signs on the GIFFORD PINCHOT NATIONAL FOREST, WASHINGTON, SKAMANIA COUNTY. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after March 29, 2010, to obtain a copy of the solicitation. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. However, the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. Project Description: The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 6 has a requirement to have the contractor furnish all labor, equipment, transportation and supplies to design and fabricate wayside and resource protection signs on the GIFFORD PINCHOT NATIONAL FOREST, WASHINGTON, SKAMANIA COUNTY in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions. The work consists of designing 41 and fabricating 49 fused polycarbonate interpretive panels for outdoor use, with 2 duplicates of each, provide 20 color original reflective illustrations for panels, provide 46 sign bases, and install 23 of those bases at Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument. PROJECT LOCATION – The location of this project is 42218 N.E. Yale Bridge Rd., Skamania County, Amboy, WA The Government intends to award a negotiated firm fixed price contract. PARTICIPATION. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 339950. The size standard is 500 employees. Contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The solicitation with specifications and Davis Bacon Contract Act wage rates will be posted to the FedBizOps website www.fbo.gov. REGISTRATIONS.
