- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPRTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER SERVICE DISABLED VETERANS OWNED SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAM FOR CONSTRUCTION NAICS CODE 238210. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Battle Creek VA medical Center, 5500 Armstrong Road, Battle Creek, MI 49037 anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a contract for the construction project known as Install Nurse Call B-2, 8, 14. The solicitation will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14 (Sealed Bidding) and Part 36 (Construction) and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures therein. The solicitation will be advertised as a Total Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, travel, etc. to perform all work under this project which consists of: Providing all labor and materials, labor and equipment to install a complete Tek NC300II Tone nurse call system in buildings 2-ground floor, 2-2nd floor, 8-1st floor, 8-2nd floor, 14-1st floor as specified. Prospective contractors should be qualified to install Tek Tone. The period of performance is 90 calendar days for the entire project. The cost range of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS Code: 238210 The solicitation documents including specifications and drawings will be issued on or about March 29, 2010. Site visit information will be provided upon issuance of the solicitation. Only one site visit will be conducted. Bids will be due on or about 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No bidder list is maintained by the Contracting Office. All potential bidders should register on this website as interested vendors.
