- The U.S. Geological Survey, Reston Virginia 20192 intends to solicit on sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Advanced Geosciences, Inc. (AGI), Austin, Texas 78726 for the purchase of the Marine Super-Sting R8/IP Earth Resistivity/IP, Instrument Console and supporting items ( 1 each). This is Not a Solicitation; this is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. Advanced Geosciences, Inc (AGI) is the only known source within the United States and Canada to fill this requirement. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The NAICS code is 334519 The anticipated award date of the contract is 03/30/2010. A vendor must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov to be awarded the contract.
