- This is not a solicitation. The Social Security Administration is performing Market Research to identify capable Certified HUBZone Small Business companies to perform American Sign Language Interpreter Services and Cart Services at SSA Headquarters in Baltimore, MD and Nationwide in any of the six (6) payment servicing centers or ten (10) Regional Offices. All interpreters must be certified by a recognized certifying organization such as the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) or The National Association of the Deaf (NAD). The contractor and contractor's employees shall abide by all state and local laws, in regard to certification and licensure of all interpreters. A qualified interpreter shall have a minimum of three (3) years paid professional experience within the last five (5) years. All parties capable of providing these services are invited to submit information that includes company name, address, contact name, and telephone number, company literature, capability statement, experience, current Small Business, HUBZone certification from the SBA and other pertinent data. The Government does not intend to pay for information received and does not intend to provide evaluation results to the sender. Instead, the knowledge obtained from information submitted will be factored into subsequent procurement set-aside determinations and/or solicitation requirements. No award will be made based on this synopsis. The information received will be used in SSA's assessment of capable sources. Requests for copies of a solicitation and/or telephone calls will not be honored or acknowledged. No cost or pricing data is required or requested.
