THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY ISAVAILABLE ONLY TO COMPUTER SCIENCES CORPORATION - APPLIED TECHNOLOGIES DIVISION (CSC-ATD)UNDER CONTRACT NNJ08JA02C FOR FACILITIES SUPPORT SERVICES AT THE JOHNSON (JSC), HOUSTON,TX, AS AUTHORIZED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009. NASA/JSC has a requirement to:1) Remove Roof-top Handler 31-11: The scope of work includes demolishing air handler31-11, all mechanical ductwork, all mechanical piping back to the chase and cap, wiringand conduit back to panel, control wiring and AH 31-11 control panel and control paneland concrete equipment pads up to the loggia edge.2) Remove Roof-top Scrubbers: The scope of work includes demolishing the scrubbersections from exhaust fans 31-24, 25, 26, and 27 all associated mechanical/plumbingpiping back to the chase and cap, wiring and conduit back to the panel and control wiringback to panel. Provide new ductwork to connect the fans with the existing ductworksystem.Removal of this equipment is required as it is obsolete and presents a hazard to thebuilding during severe weather. Also, removal of this equipment must occur prior to theroof repairs scheduled to repair the roofs that sustained damaged during Hurricane Ike. JSC intends to issue a firm-fixed-price Delivery Order 1236 to procure these services insupport of Hurricane Ike Phase II repairs funded by the American Recovery andReinvestment Act of 2009. Modification 146 will be issued to fund Delivery Order 1236. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. This announcement willnot result in a Request for Proposal; this announcement is for informational purposesonly. All questions and/or concerns must be submitted in writing to the points of contactcontained herein. An Ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note 'B'.
