- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA National Acquisition Center will issue Request for Proposal (RFP) VA-797-10-RP-0056 for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DoD), Indian Health Service (IHS) and Bureau of Prisons (BOP) for an unrestrictive procurement for Fluocinonide 0.05% Cream Top, Cream Top E, GEL, Ointment and Solution. The estimated annual usage is as follows: Group 1--57,325 tubes of Fluocinonide 0.05% Cream Top, 15GM; 28,865 tubes of Fluocinonide 0.05% Cream Top, 30GM; 102,264 tubes of Fluocinonide 0.05% Cream Top, 60GM; Group 2 -- 1,251 tubes of Fluocinonide 0.05% Cream Top E, 15GM; 1,059 tubes of Fluocinonide 0.05% Cream Top E, 30GM; 2,590 tubes of Fluocinonide 0.05% Cream Top E, 60GM; Group 3 -- 4,964 tubes of Fluocinonide 0.05% Gel Top, 15GM; 5,663 tubes of Fluocinonide 0.05% Cream Top, 60GM; Group 4 -- 18,992 tubes of Fluocinonide 0.05% Ointment Top, 15GM; 16,046 tubes of Fluocinonide 0.05% Ointment Top, 30GM; 75,627 tubes of Fluocinonide 0.05% Ointment Top, 60 GM; Group 5 - 28,956 tubes of Fluocinonide 0.05% Solution Top, 60ML. The estimated annual usage listed above is for VA, DoD, Indian Health Service (IHS) and Bureau of Prisons (BOP). VA reserves the right to add additional package sizes to the contract at a later date, when they become available or if offered in a vendor's proposal. This will not affect the quantities listed in the usage requirements. The contract period will be for one year plus four one-year option periods. The contract items will be distributed through the VA and DoD's respective Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor(s). Offeror's must state the exact name (name that appears on label) by which the drug will be supplied and have a unique 11-digit NDC number. If the offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer and remain in effect for the duration of the contract period including the option years. Solicitation No VA-797-10-RP-0056 will be electronically issued in commercial item format in accordance with FAR Part 12 on or about April 7, 2010 with a closing date of April 21, 2010. The NAICS code for this procurement is 325412. Any future amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be available electronically for download at the following URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available, and no telephone requests for paper copies of the solicitation will be accepted.
