- RECOVERY -- This project is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. This opportunity is available only to contractors under firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery/Indifinitive Quantity (IDIQ) contracts established by the US Forest Service. Multiple awards of IDIQ contracts were made under a single competitive solicitation for the same or similar supplies or services to two or more sources. The work will involve removal of all structures, including the mill building, and debris in the area and closure of the open adit. This work would be done to facilitate capping the tailings, make the confined work area safer and leave the site less attractive to a curious public. Tailings will be consolidated and capped with soil from an on-site source. Concrete and stone retaining walls would be left in place for sbabilizing the slope below the capped tailings. One firm-fixed price task order will be awarded from the solicitation. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
