- DESCRIPTIONThe solicitation number for this Request for Quote (RFQ) is Q1500100301. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The associated NAICS code is 333319, sewage treatment equipment manufacturing. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The Product Service Code is 4630, sewage treatment equipment. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation that will be the most advantageous to the Government and Best Value to the Government. Best value can include but is not limited to price, delivery date, and technical capability. All vendors must be registered and current in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), http://www.ccr.gov) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) (https://orca.bpn.gov). Any questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing, not later than close of business on March 22, 2010. Once questions are collected and reviewed, the government will consider whether an amendment to this solicitation will be required. Amendments to this solicitation will be issued as appropriate. Item #2 - Quantity = 2: - Grinder Pump CartridgeThis request is for brand name or equivalent to existing pump cartridges. Current grinder cartridge in service is a Muffin Monster 20000-A4 cutter cartridge with 7 cam cutters and 4130 spacers, seal assemblies with Buna N Elastomers end housing; drive and driven shafts with metal to metal coupling. Delivery is to be FOB Destination to Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Maintenance Shop, 13000 Highway 244, Keystone, South Dakota, 30 days after receipt of order. Inspection: Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control.
