- SUBJECT - Virtual Veterans Affairs (Virtual VA) - Maintenance, Benefits Delivery at Discharge and Optional Integrated Imaging InitiativesThis award notice is provided for Informational Purposes Only. On March 5, 2010, the Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Acquisition and Logistics, Contracting Office, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 260 Industrial Way West, Eatontown, NJ 07724 awarded a contract on a basis of other than full and open competition for the Office of Information and Technology (OI&T), Region 5 Field Operations & Benefits Program Executive Office (BPEO). The Firm Fixed priced (FFP) contract, VA118-10-P-0043 in the amount of $281,529.00 was awarded to Duty First Consulting LLC, 39471 Charles Town Pike, Hamilton, VA 20158, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, to provide local application support services and Tier 1 and 2 help desk support for the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Virtual VA information technology (IT) application. The synopsis number associated with this action is VA118-10-RQ-0163. Requirements included help desk support for the Virtual VA application; propose backup recovery disaster solutions design and associated services; assist in the implementation of application performance and capacity test environments; provide hardware and software maintenance; and provide application deployment services for the Virtual VA systems. The support will be required to system environments located at Hines Information Technology Center, Philadelphia Information Technology Center, and three VBA regional offices in Philadelphia, Milwaukee, and Saint Paul. The period of performance is from March 5, 2010 through April 4, 2010. The subject effort is currently being competed under the Veterans Technology Services Government wide Acquisition Contract (VETS GWAC). The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 541511.
