- THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT Recovery - Installation of 2 East Canyon Bridges and Langille Bridge, Gifford Pinchot National Forest, WA The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-0489-S-10-0397 on or about March 31, 2010 for the Recovery - Installation of 2 East Canyon Bridges and Langille Bridge in the GP National Forest. If the solicitation is released it will be released through this FedBizOps website and prospective bidder should visit this FedBizOps website from time to time on or around March 31, 2010, to obtain a copy of the solicitation. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. However the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. Project Description. The US Forest service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 6 has a requirement for the installation of two East Canyon Bridges and the Langille Bridge in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, WA. The contract requires the removal of the existing bridges and the installation of Government Furnished prefabricated bridges at the three sites. The contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, and material, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and all incidentals except those items listed as Government Furnished Property needed to perform the following: Installation of two East Canyon Bridges and the Langille Bridge in the GP National Forest in compliance with its terms, specifications and provisions. The Government intends to award a negotiated Firm Fixed Price contract. The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Project Location - Three Sites Site 1 - Langille Bridge Replacement - off of Forest Road 2809 Site 2 - East Canyon Creek #2 Bridge Replacement FR 2322 Site 3 - East Canyon Creek Bridge Replacement FR 2325 All sites are in SW Washington Participation - This project is Set aside under the Small Business Demonstration Program. The NAICS Code for this project is 237310. The size standard is $33.5M. Contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The Solicitation with specification and Davis Bacon Act Wage Rates will be posted to the FedBizOps website, www.fbo.gov. Registrations.
