Description

RECOVERYTAS::14 1035::TAS RECOVERY KEMO PMIS #152704 The U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, located in Kennesaw, GA, has identified a requirement for construction services for roof replacement and installation of a photovoltaic system. The work of this contract will consist replacing the roof and installing a photovoltaic system on the Kennesaw Mountain NBP visitor center for the purposes of reducing or eliminating current energy costs. This contract may also include upgrading the current lighting in the visitor center. This project is funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act). In accordance with contract clause 52.204-11 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act - Reporting Requirements, the contractor is required to register in FederalReporting.gov and report certain information as required by the clause. Reports shall be submitted during the first 10 days after the end of each calendar quarter. To assist in registering and completing the reporting requirements, the applicable codes will be provided on the solicitation and award documents. This requirement will be solicited in accordance with FAR Part 19 and the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238990 with a small business size standard of $14 million. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with FAR Part 36 (Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts) and Part 15 (Contracting by Negotiation). The estimated magnitude of this project is $500,000.00 - $1,000,000.00, and the estimated performance period will be 180 days after the start date of the contract. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is April 1, 2010, and the estimated date of award is May 15, 2010.
