- The Department of Homeland Security, Office of Procurement Operations (OPO), Washington, DC intends to award a sole source contract to the National Academy of Sciences pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 to conduct research to investigate technology and capability gaps and develop an agenda for DHS S&T research to develop measures of effectiveness to enhance societal and community resilience against natural disasters, technological incidents and terrorist attack. This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request for quotation - no contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement and no other information will be provided. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government.
