- TAS::14 1035::TAS RECOVERY OZAR PMIS# 145335 Construct Chilton Boat Launch This Project is an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) action. Receipt of award is contingent upon the bidder's meeting the requirements of Section 1512 (reports of use of funds) of the Recovery Act. General: The National Park Service, Department of Interior, is soliciting bids for construction firms having the capability to perform the work described as follows: Construct Chilton Boat Launch at the Ozarks National Scenic Riverways, Van Buren, Missouri. Solicitation Number I6066100017. PMIS Number 145335. The bidder selected shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of this project. Description: The work of this contract consists of the general construction of a boat launch ramp surfaced with an articulated concrete mat. A significant portion of the ramp will be constructed in the Current River, requiring careful adherence to soil erosion and sediment control measures. Foundation materials for the articulated concrete mat include geotextile, concrete ecology blocks, and drainage aggregate. The mat will be secured with helical anchors, rock blanket fill, and drainage aggregate. Work also includes re-vegetation and permanent erosion control mats on exposed soil slopes within the areas ofexcavation. Type of Acquisition: An Invitation for Bid (IFB), firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The NAICS code for this project is 238110 and the small business size standard is $14.0 million. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the estimated price range for this contract is between $100,000 and $250,000. This solicitation is advertised under HUBZone Small Business set-aside. This solicitation will be issued electronically, on the Department of Interior's National Business Center (NBC) web site, at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about April 2, 2010.
