Description
RFQ The USCG Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for the following item: 1) NSN: 4420 01-370-5755, INTERCOOLER AIR SYSTEM FOR MAIN DIESEL ENGINE PN: 16702123, MFG: FAIRBANKS MORSE ENGINE DIV, FOB Destination delivery to USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room Bldg. 88A, Baltimore, MD 21226. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS OR SPECIFICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. It is anticipated that a non competitive sole source purchase order will be issued for this item to Fairbanks Morse Engine Div. or an authorized distributor. It is the Governments belief that only Fairbanks Morse Engine Div, the original equipment manufacturer, or an authorized dealer can furnish the required parts and ensure the proper fit, form and function of all it components. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to furnish the above items are invited to submit complete information discussing the same in duplicate within 1 day of this announcement. However, other potential sources desiring to furnish other than Fairbanks Morse Engine Div parts are required to submit the following information: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics) or 2) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the government or the original equipment manufacturer. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the proposal relative to the above requirements. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract. The Government does not intend to pay for information solicited. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the Agency. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 333618. HSCG40-10-Q-CU030 shall be available for download from FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) on March 17, 2010. All quotations are due no later than March 31, 2010. It is anticipated that an award will be made by April 01, 2010. Contractors shall use ORCA to electronically submit annual representations and certifications (REPS & CERTS) in accordance with FAR Clause 52.212-3. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the FBO system for changes or amendments to this quotation.
